Events and Activities Kicking Off 2026 With Purpose and Power Zeta Tau Zeta Chapter began 2026 with intention, impact, and excellence—living out our commitment to Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood through meaningful engagement in our community and within our sisterhood. Throughout the year, the chapter proudly hosted, attended, and participated in a variety of dynamic and impactful events, including the Annual Joint Founders Day Worship Service, Founders Day Celebration, and the ZTZ Founders Day and Five Pearl Honorees Program, honoring our legacy while uplifting the women who exemplify our principles. These moments strengthened our bond of sisterhood and reaffirmed our shared commitment to the ideals upon which our organization was founded. Our dedication to service was demonstrated through hands-on initiatives such as the Youth Service Project and the Dating Safely workshop, where we provided education, mentorship, and resources designed to empower and protect our youth and young adults. These efforts reflect our ongoing responsibility to uplift and serve our community with compassion and purpose. Zeta Tau Zeta also amplified its focus on scholarship and economic empowerment through programs like Power of SHE: Economic Justice in Action, creating space for meaningful dialogue, advocacy, and action around financial literacy, equity, and access. These initiatives align with our mission to cultivate informed, confident women prepared to lead and create change. As showcased in the accompanying video, each event represents more than a moment—it reflects who we are as Finer Women committed to excellence, growth, and collective impact. Zeta Tau Zeta Chapter remains steadfast in advancing our mission and continuing to make a difference—together. National Programs Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is honored to have formed many wonderful community-based partnerships over the past 85 years. Whether administering our Z-HOPE program or giving financial assistance through our National Educational Foundation, we do so with the understanding that service to the community is our greatest legacy. THE EXTRAORDINARY power of s.h.e. is a program of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated that focuses on social, health, and economic justice for women. Stork’s Nest is a 40-year-old partnership between Zeta Phi Beta and March of Dimes. Stork’s Nest is a community-based, prenatal, health promotion program for low-income pregnant women. The program is designed to promote prenatal care participation and healthy behaviors during pregnancy through two components-incentives and education. Stork’s Nest clients “earn” points toward incentives, such as maternity or baby care items, through a variety of positive, health-promoting activities; attending prenatal care appointments, participating in prenatal education classes, keeping appointments for well-baby visits,, etc. Thousands of women are serviced at Stork’s Nest all over the country every year. Elder Care Initiative strives to provide education and awareness about preparing for your senior years. The African American community is least prepared when it comes to retirement, estate planning and understanding the legal and financial preparation needed to care for parents, grandparents and ultimately, for our own long term care. It is a comprehensive program that also focuses on elder abuse awareness, financial peace, supporting the caregiver and volunteering at senior care facilities.
